Ok, it was apparent right from the beginning Megumi had something to hide, and boy did it turn out to be something (guilt for someone's miscarriage? (at least i think that's what it was) whoa! but it also meant his ex and family were totally using him as their vessel for blame. I totally respected Shiika for saying "TAKE CARE OF THIS NOW THEN" though him actually taking care of it took faster than I thought it would. And of course, the girlfriend turned out to be a total b*tch, admitting she ran back to "sensei" but can't blame megumi as much since he's saying sorry. At chapter 14, Shiika's firework display for him is dramatic-like and beautiful. c'mon shiika! He needs a break from all his girl drama xD but i guess then it wouldn't be a shoujo lol.
chapter 14 ends with megumi leaning down on a tear streaked shiika who's dedication and strong thoughts put the readers in awe. But honestly, i really hope megumi doesn't kiss her (even though that's the big cliffhanger question, is megumi gonna kiss her??) It just feels to me like he just needs a breather! it's been years living with that huge guilt over his shoulders, he finally relieves it a bit, saying to himself he'll never let that happen again by never saying yes to a girl unless he really means it, and this girl's over there's all attracting him, being sweet and comforting and understanding... argh it's all so quick!
